Alex Schiffman is a Host, Supervising Producer and Writer born and raised in Southern California. She is a graduate of USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Alex received her start in production on E!'s Live From The Red Carpet. She went on to become a Host, Producer Writer focused on pop culture with an emphasis in livestream and social media. Some of Alex's work includes Billboard News, CBS "This Is LA," AwesomenessTV, Radio Disney, Disney Channel, Sweety High, and Hollywire to name a few. From A-Listers like JLo and Tina Fey, to the cast of Bravo's “Vanderpump Rules,” to musical artists such as The Chainsmokers and Camila Cabello, to the Los Angeles Dodgers, to the iconic Miss Piggy and Kermit themselves- Alex has interviewed all realms of pop culture. 

 

She was a daily pop culture correspondent on Radio Disney Morning Show's, “Radio Disney Insider,” reporting live from 6-9AM PST on IHeartRadio.com and SiriusXM79 in addition to hosting and producing on-camera interviews featured on the Radio Disney App. Additionally, she was the lead pop culture producer for AwesomenessTV's, “Daily Report,” hosted by E!'s Hunter March. At AwesomenessTV, Alex also created and produced an Instagram Live Show reporting on trending pop culture news, “This Week on FriYAY.”

 

Alex was an official co-host for the Teen Choice Awards livestream on TeenChoiceAwards.com and an official co-host for the Radio Disney Music Awards Red Carpet Livestream in virtual reality. The Teen Choice Awards livestream received more viewership than the actual broadcast on FOX, while the RDMA livestream made virtual reality history as a livestream of the red carpet in VR prior to the TV broadcast was a first for award shows.
